At work I kept finding myself typing the exact same things over and over, just with minor variations. I figured it would be so much easier to click a button and fill out certain info when sending projects back and forth during the QA process. So I thought, what better time than now to dip my toes into Swift development and try building the app myself. What started as a simple idea to make my life a little easier turned into a small passion project. I designed the flow in Figma and, with some help from Claude, managed to get the app built in a day. I work on Clippyboard daily, making minor tweaks and adding whatever I think might make my life easier. It's not on the App Store yet, but with a bit more usability and polish, I think it could find a home with a niche group of people like me who needlessly try to automate the monotonous little tech tasks in their day.
