MKM Design is a residential architectural firm based out of Okotoks, Alberta that has been designing homes since 2007. They came to me through Slate Digital Studio looking for a website that felt as clean and considered as the work they do. The goal was a site that put their projects front and center while staying simple enough to never distract from the architecture itself. I built the site around a minimal, lowercase wordmark and a quiet layout that lets the imagery carry the weight. The structure is straightforward: a short About section that explains who MKM is and how they work, a Projects gallery to showcase past residential builds, and a contact form so prospective clients can reach out directly. Since the firm values maintaining architectural integrity, I wanted the design to reflect that same restraint and precision.
